We Are PR Booster Club

About the Booster Club

One Pack, one purpose. 🐺

Our mission is to enrich the student experience at Prairie Ridge by providing financial support for activities and athletics not fully funded by the district.

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit — every dollar raised goes back to Prairie Ridge students.

Wolf Way: Integrity, Respect, Inclusion, Resilience, Empathy

The values our students carry into every classroom, court, field, and stage — and the standard we hold ourselves to as a board.

❤️

All-volunteer. All for the students.

The Prairie Ridge Booster Club is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Nobody takes a paycheck — the board, committee leads, and event crews are all parents and community members donating their time. Your sponsorships and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Active programs

What we actually run

Everything below is run by parent volunteers, year after year. Together they are how $88,000 reached Prairie Ridge students in FY26.

🌭

Concession stands

Volunteers staff the stand at home games all season. Every shift worked earns a Concession Point for the team or club the volunteer chooses, and at the end of the school year those points become dollars paid back to those programs.

🎯

Funding requests from coaches and advisors

Uniforms, equipment, instruments, competition fees and facility upgrades the district budget doesn't cover. Requests are voted on by members at our monthly meetings.

🏃

The Great Turkey Chase 5K

Our Thanksgiving-week road race, open to runners and walkers of every age, and one of the club's two largest fundraisers of the year.

🧠

Ridge Fest Trivia Night

An adults' trivia evening with raffles and prizes, put on with local business support.

👔

Wolf Pack Outfitters

Sweatshirts, tees and sideline gear sold online and at events, with proceeds going straight back into student programs.

🤝

Business sponsorships

Local businesses sponsor the season and are thanked on our sponsor wall, in the stadium and across our social channels. Sponsorship is the club's most reliable source of income.

🍽

Restaurant give-back nights

Eat at a partner restaurant on a set evening and a share of the takings comes back to the club. No cost to families beyond dinner.

🎓

Senior scholarships

Awards to graduating Prairie Ridge seniors, funded by the club and decided by committee each spring.

How we got here

The Booster Club was founded on June 4, 1997 — the year Prairie Ridge opened its doors — and has been run ever since by parent volunteers with no paid staff. Membership has never cost anything: every family with a student at PRHS is already a member, and so is every alum.

What has changed is scale. The concession stand grew from a folding table into a season-long operation staffed by dozens of families a night, and the give-back total grew with it — $88,000 in FY26, with $100,000 the goal for FY27. Coaches and advisors bring requests to a monthly meeting that is open to anyone, and members vote on them.

Where to find us

We meet monthly in the Prairie Ridge library, 7:00 PM — open to every member, which means open to every PRHS family.
