Allocation process
HOW DOES THE BOOSTER CLUB ALLOCATE FUNDS?
The Prairie Ridge Booster Club is proud to support our students by funding clubs, activities, and sports through the generous contributions of parents, volunteers, and donors. Here’s how we decide where the money goes:
- Request Submission:
Coaches and sponsors of Prairie Ridge activities or teams submit their funding requests to the Booster Club. These requests must be sent through a liaison, Vice Principal - Mr. Kevin Koeppen, by Friday, February 28th, 2025. Unfortunately, late requests cannot be considered. - Review Process:
School administrators—including the Athletic Director, Activity/Club Director, Principal, and Vice Principal—review all submissions. They evaluate the needs and make recommendations to the Booster Club Board. - Booster Board Decision:
The Booster Club Board carefully reviews the requests and the recommendations provided. They consider factors like:- Specific needs of the program or team
- Previous fundraising efforts
- Participation and parent involvement in Booster Club activities
- Final Approval:
The final decisions are made at the April Booster Club Meeting, which will take place on Monday, April 14th, 2025. After approval, funds will be distributed. - Important Note:
Funds for travel-related expenses will not be granted.
OUR COMMITMENT TO FAIRNESS
Every request we receive is thoughtfully reviewed to ensure our funds are distributed as equitably as possible. While we may not be able to fulfill every request fully, we ensure each is given fair and thorough consideration.
100% of the funds we raise through events and donations go directly back to supporting our students at Prairie Ridge High School.

2023-2024 ALLOCATIONS
We wish to thank all the volunteers that helped us accrue $52,147 that we were able to allocate to all sports, clubs and activities this school year. This pie chart does not include the assistance that some groups applied for, but were granted by our schools administration.
